What Is a Waterfall Countertop? A waterfall countertop continues vertically down one or both sides of the island, creating the appearance of the surface flowing toward the floor. This seamless detail highlights the beauty of the material and gives the island a clean, luxurious finish. In this kitchen, the striking veining travels across the expansive countertop and down both sides of the island. The result is a dramatic frame that contrasts beautifully with the dark cabinet

A beautiful kitchen is shaped by more than its cabinetry and countertops. The smallest design elements often have the greatest visual impact. Chrome inserts can add definition, reflection, and a distinctive custom finish to an otherwise simple kitchen. In this bright white space, polished chrome accents are thoughtfully incorporated throughout the cabinetry and island. The result is sophisticated and cohesive without overwhelming the clean, modern design.

As our homes continue to support more activities, every square foot matters. A thoughtfully designed office nook can provide a practical place to work, organize paperwork, plan meals, or help children with homework—without requiring a separate room. When incorporated into custom kitchen cabinetry, a small workspace can feel like an intentional part of the overall design rather than an afterthought.

Today’s homes are designed for more than just everyday living—they’re places to gather, entertain, celebrate, and spend time together. When the kitchen, dining room, and bar are located within the same open-concept space, creating a consistent design between all three areas can completely transform the home. At Delorie Countertops & Doors, we love designing spaces that feel connected while still giving each area its own personality and purpose.

Modern kitchens are often defined by clean lines, bright finishes, and simple color palettes. But adding warm wood details can completely change the atmosphere, bringing natural beauty, texture, and character to the space. In this kitchen, crisp white cabinetry and elegant quartz countertops create a fresh foundation, while strategically placed wood accents make the design feel warmer and more inviting.

When designing a dream kitchen, every detail matters. Cabinetry, lighting, appliances, and finishes all work together to create a beautiful space—but sometimes, one feature becomes the true centerpiece. In this stunning kitchen, that feature is the backlit solid surface countertop. More than just a work surface, this illuminated island transforms the entire room. The soft glow highlights the beauty of the solid surface material while adding warmth, sophistication, and a lu

A kitchen island is often the centerpiece of the home, and a waterfall countertop is one of the most elegant ways to make it stand out. With its seamless design that extends the countertop material down the sides of the island, a waterfall edge creates a bold architectural statement while adding sophistication and functionality to any space.

At Delorie Countertops & Doors, we believe every homeowner deserves a space that is both beautiful and functional. Whether you're renovating an outdated kitchen, building a new home, or simply looking for better organization, our custom design process ensures your new kitchen is tailored to your lifestyle.

The refrigerator is one of the largest appliances in any kitchen, but that doesn't mean it has to dominate the space. One of the most popular trends in custom kitchen design is integrating the refrigerator into surrounding cabinetry, creating a seamless, built-in appearance that instantly elevates the room.

When planning a kitchen or bathroom renovation, selecting the right cabinet door style is one of the most important design decisions you'll make. Cabinet doors set the tone for the entire space, influencing everything from aesthetics to resale value.

A small breakfast nook can add warmth, functionality, and everyday convenience to your kitchen—without requiring a large amount of space.
